Driveway Gate Got Stuck
Customer Issue: Some kind of obstruction got inside of the Bensons’ gate hinges or opener. This caused it to grind to a halt before it could open.
Our Solution: The hinges were clear and mobile when we hand tested them, so next we looked at the opener. The insulation foam was stripped away, and there was some kind of half-ruined nest in the works. We cleared and cleaned it all out, and replaced the feeble insulation with a secure, rigid container.

New Gate Installation
Customer Issue: A new gate was required, for a medium to large sized driveway, with a homey aesthetic preferred and security emphasized.
Our Solution: For aesthetical reasons, the customer opted for a wrought iron double swing gate, which required a powerful opener in the form of the LiftMaster LA500PKGU. From the same brand came a CAPXL integrated control and intercom system, as well as a suite of extra security cameras.

Gate Intercom Repair
Customer Issue: The gate end of the customer’s intercom system shut down completely and wouldn’t reactivate.
Our Solution: The issue was clearly related to the power supply, so our team took out the battery box and installed a replacement from our stockpile of spare parts. They also patched some of the wires and added some extra waterproofing to make sure this one will last longer.

Gate Opener Repair
Customer Issue: The gate was opening spontaneously, apropos of nothing seemingly.
Our Solution: Our team initially suspected a sensor issue, but when none was found they looked at the wiring and control systems. The opener’s antenna had somehow been twisted almost off, and the wires connecting it to the circuit board were stripped and twisted up. Rewiring and sealing solved the problem.
